Hi Paige, Where you live is entirely up to you but, as pilots we do blocks of reserve and we need to be within 2 hours of the crew car park for any home standby blocks so you may need to factor in the cost of hotel accommodation if you choose to live further than 2 hours away. We also have a responsibility to arrive at work fully rested so you would need to consider that as well if you chose to commute. Hope that helps!
