What kind of soft skills will help me succeed?

My experience of working with the fantastic team of people at BA is that they all have warm, approachable personalities. If you enjoy working within a team of people and love to help others then you may already have the personality attributes to help you succeed.
In my role as a pilot, one skill that's extremely important is to be able to communicate well with everyone around you. A huge part of this is listening intently and communicating your opinion/instructions clearly and effectively. Having great communication skills can come naturally to some although it is a skill that can be developed and improved. There are lots of online tools on how to improve communication skills, a quick Google search will help you find some of these if you think that's an area you need to work on.
