Hi, I'm very keen to apply for the Speedbird Programme, is there any advice or tips you can give on prep?

There is a wealth of information and on how to prepare on our website Speedbird Pilot Academy Preparation. We recommend focusing on each stage as they come up and preparing accordingly as each stage will be assessing different strengths and requires competencies.

Prepare thoroughly. Be yourself and be individual and know how your life experience can give you examples that apply to the pilot competencies. For example, my experience as a nurse, while being a very different role to a pilot, was incredibly relevant to many of the competencies and helped me develop the necessary skills. It is important to identify the skills where you think may be weaker and consider how you would improve these.
There are webinars which you can sign up for from this link which may give you more insight and give you an opportunity to ask questions.
