Hi Magda.

You are eligible to apply for the Speedbird Pilot Academy with a PPL. I had done a PPL when I applied for the scheme years ago and it is helpful knowledge but the hours won't be counted towards your training.

If you have done any ATPL exams then you are not eligible to apply.

I hope this helps and good luck with your application!

Would it improve your chances of getting accepted into the program?

Hi Magda.

We are looking for people who have a passion for flying so it will definitely be beneficial for your application. It will also give you experience in flight management and pilot competencies.

I wish you lots of luck should you choose to apply. Check out the Future Pilot information and frequently asked questions on the BA careers website. It is also worth following us on Linked In for more information.
