Talent Manager - BA Digital
What I love most about British Airways is its iconic brand. There's something special about being part of a company with such a rich history and global recognition. Beyond that, I really admire how British Airways values things like safety, reliability, and exceptional service. It's not just about getting people from A to B, it's about doing it with excellence every time. And then there's the commitment to sustainability, which is fantastic. Knowing that we're working for a company that cares about the environment and actively works to minimize its impact feels really meaningful.

What I like most about British Airways is the managers listen to the feedback they receive both negative and positive and implement the required changes and seek continuous improvement to ensure the colleagues have the best working environment that caters to their career development and wellbeing. Based on the feedback received we currently have various leadership training programmers open to all colleagues whether you manage people or not. This will aid in furthering career progression for colleagues across the board. We also have wellbeing champions who have the autonomy to tailor the wellbeing needs for their colleagues whether it's buying donuts, going to visit the Hangar for the afternoon or going out for an evening for team bonding.

What I love most about British Airways is the doors and opportunities it opens to you. Outside of our day jobs there is so much to get involved in, whether that be adverts for our new British Airways campaigns, being the new voice of British Airways airport announcements or being involved in colleague networks, British Airways actively encourage and invite colleagues to have a chance to do something out of the norm, which I find really exciting.
We are also given the opportunity to help the operation during times of disruption, staff must enroll to help out around the business and be on call should they need to help for a 2 week period every year, this could be helping at the check in desks, on social media, baggage, or even as Cabin crew, which I think is a great initiative and a way to learn something new.
There is always such a buzz around the office with different events, suppliers, or initiatives running, so it is a really great place to work. The office is simply iconic, with it's own museum, Sainsbury's and a Starbucks, you could get lost for hours wandering around!
Another reason I love working for British Airways is the great staff travel benefits. They really are unmatched, with unlimited standby tickets, great commercial discounts, and an annual bookable concession each year, it allows for some brilliant holidays to be had!

What I love most about British Airways is we are a truly recognisable brand who connect Britain with the world and the world with Britain, flying to more than 200 destinations in over 75 countries. With such a large network and more than 38,000 colleagues working to help get our planes in the skies, there are endless opportunities to further your career, learn new things and meet people from all around the world. Aside from your role, we have a number of colleague networks you can join and be a part of, along with the opportunity to get involved in exciting events and activities, raise money for Flying Start - our charity partnership with Comic Relief and so much more. For example - I never thought I'd have the opportunity to join our Global Brand Ambassador team and represent the airline at events, or the ability to register for one of our Customer Support Schemes and assist customers with their queries on social media. The opportunities are endless!
