Hi Selena - at British Airways, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse environment for both our employees and our customers. Restrictions on visible tattoos, is part of our efforts to uphold a consistent and professional image. Our uniform policy is set to align with the expectations of our global customer base, who come from a wide array of cultural backgrounds and may have varying perceptions of professionalism.

While we understand that tattoos are a form of personal expression, the visibility of tattoos on the hands can sometimes conflict with the professional image we aim to project. We regularly review our policies to ensure they are in line with current trends and societal norms, and we appreciate feedback from our employees and applicants as part of this process.

I hope this helps!
