There are a number of ways. You can do a modular or integrated training course to achieve your CPL or you can apply for a scheme such as British Airways Speedbird Pilot Academy which will fund your training. It is highly competitive and you need to be motivated. You can get experience by joining the air cadets or, if at university, a university air squadron. The RAF is another option too. I hope this has given you some ideas.
