Cabin Crew

Hi Lottie,

Thanks for question.

  • First and foremost, be yourself and let your personality shine :-) British Airways Cabin Crew are known for this and it’s what differentiates us.
  • Consider the requirements for the role and prep some examples that show you have experience in these areas. For example, team work onboard our aircraft is essential. When have you worked well as part of a team? A little tip: the STAR acronym works well (Situation, Task, Action, Result).
  • We already know you love to travel (that’s why you’re applying, right?), so make sure you focus on our customers. They are the reason we fly. How will you provide exceptional customer service and ensure our customers arrive safely at their destination?

We're not hiring just yet, but I suggest signing up to receive job alerts so you can be one of the first to know here: https://apply.ba.com/jobs/alertregister/?alerts=1

Finally, do have a look at the FAQ section https://careers.ba.com/cabin-crew-faqs on our careers website, as this also has some important information that will help you with your application.

Good luck Lottie!

It’s so exciting to hear you’ve been dreaming of joining British Airways as cabin crew! Here are a few tips to help with your application:

  1. Understand the Role: British Airways looks for people who are customer-focused, safety-conscious, and great team players. Consider how you embody these qualities.
  2. Tailor Your Application: Use real examples from work, volunteering, or personal experiences to show how you’ve been adaptable, calm under pressure, and gone the extra mile to help others.
  3. Show You Understand British Airways’s Values: Learn about British Airways's mission and values, and highlight how your own approach to work and customer service aligns with them.
  4. Be Yourself: Let your personality shine through! British Airways values authenticity and passion, so don’t be afraid to show why this role matters to you.

Good luck with your application! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
