What is the dress code at Waterside?

Congratulations on your new role! Like many modern offices you will see a mixture of 'smart casual' outfits. Within my department there isn't an expectation for shirts & ties, and smart jeans/casual dresses and trainers are acceptable. However as mentioned before, it will depend on your role, so do check with your new line manager what the expectations are for your role, especially if client or customer facing.

Hi, Welcome to British Airways. I would say smart casual would be the order of the day. Jackets and ties rarely seen at Waterside, but typically no jeans and t-shirts. Fridays are often "dress down days" where jeans and polo shirts are often worn. Depending on your role, customer facing roles may be expected a slightly higher standard, but you'll see when you start what others in your new area are wearing.

Hello! Welcome to the BA family. We are pretty flexible with office wear in Waterside. Like other comments on here it does depend on your interaction with external customers.... Typically Smart jeans are fine. We have all kinds of dress from Suits, to shirt and trousers. Please do not worry and wear what you feel comfortable in. As a minimum I would say avoid ripped jeans, "non smart" trainers.
