Hi Liam.

We don't require A-levels for you to be eligible for the Speedbird Pilot Academy. I would suggest studying subjects that you enjoy as there are many areas which feed into being a successful airline pilot. We need lots of different skills such as workload management, decision making, teamwork and leadership, professional standards and communication skills which can be developed through life experience and A-levels can help with this development if that is the route you choose.

We are looking for people who can show an active interest in aviation so joining air cadets, getting a taster flight or a job at a local airfield for example would all demonstrate this.

Good luck with your studies and good luck with applying to the Speedbird Pilot Academy.

Best wishes

Kate
