Hi, I would like to apply for the Speedbird Pilot Academy. Is it possible to do so as a Swiss national?
Additional information
The first question is: How are you eligible to have the unrestricted right to work and live in the UK? As I only have the Swiss passport, do I have to apply for a visa before applying to the academy or is it possible to do so after the assessments once it is sure that I may become a pilot at BA?

Hi Oliver -
From the information you have given, I believe we would need to see a Certificate of Application (non-digital) issued by the Home Office showing that you have made an application for leave to enter or remain under Appendix EU to the immigration rules (known as the EU Settlement Scheme), on or after 1 July 2021, together with a Positive Verification Notice from the Home Office Employer Checking Service.
You will need to hold the right to live and work in the UK before application. How one does this I cannot advise on, it would be something you would need to look into, but I suspect a good starting place would be the UK Government website.
I hope this has helped.
