I am thinking of applying to the speedbird academy to start a second career after I retire from my current job.

Additional information
I will be 54 when I retire from my job, and will be 55 in October. The Acedamy says the cut off age is 55. Does that mean that once I reach 55 I cannot apply, or is it that I can apply in my 55th year, before my 56th birthday? I can't find an answer anywhere, which is why Ia asking. Thank you.

Hi Geraint -
The cut off is 55 inclusive, therefore as soon as a candidate is 56, they are ineligible.
Good luck with your application!
