I am currently 15 years old in year 11 and I was wondering do I have to take a physics A-level and is is it a advantage

Do you enjoy Physics and Maths? If you do then go for it, but if you think you would enjoy, and thus do better in, other subjects then in my opinion, I would choose the subjects you prefer. As far as academic qualifications go, we look at the GCSE results to check they meet the benchmark and do not look much at the grades again. Our application process is designed to find the right candidates to suit our pilot competencies, rather than how many A*s they achieved as this doesn't necessarily mean that they would make good pilots. This means, that if you have a 4/C or above in Maths, English Language and a science (and three other subjects) then you would have the required amount of academics and anything over this is a bonus but would not give you an advantage over other candidates.

When it comes to neurodiverse individuals, provided they meet the eligibility requirements and pass the various selection stages they would have the same chance as any our neurotypical candidates.

The application window for the Academy tends to open at the beginning of the year, however no plans have been made for 2026 as of yet.
